Firefighters in France are battling the country’s biggest wildfire in nearly 80 years as the blaze spreads rapidly through forests and villages in the southern Aude region. More than 37,000 acres has burned since the fire began, leaving at least one person dead and more than 2,000 homes without power, according to French officials.
